The Minnesota Timberwolves led the Atlanta Hawks 58-44 at halftime, then 77-70 after three quarters, but couldn't hold on in a 104-96 loss Monday afternoon in Atlanta.

Derrick Williams led the Wolves (17-21) with 17 points. Five other players were in double digits for Minnesota, who has lost five of their last six games.

Hawks (23-18) center Al Horford scored 28 points to lead all scorers. Jannero Pargo came off the bench for Atlanta and contributed 16 points in the win.

The Timberwolves return to Target Center on Wednesday night to take on the Brooklyn Nets (7:00 PM, WJON)
